The Jakarta invasion!
Now that Tom has moved to Bali he will have to get used to friends from Jakarta dropping in and asking to dive.
This guy’s name is Ardi, he is a friend of Erwin’s from High school. Mia, Tom and I took Ardi and two of his friends, Witono and Yanti on two DSD dives in Tulamben last weekend.
Using our new AI skills, Mia, Tom and I each took one of the new divers with us on our dives. The good news is that they all survived after I took them to 20 meters!
Ardi was a great beginner diver, I let him dive by himself and just watched him (when I wasn’t busy taking pictures hahaha).
He didn’t share our excitement at finding teeny tiny frogfsh and nudibranchs. When I was taking a picture in five meters depth at the Drop Off, he floated to the surface.
I signalled for him to get his ass back down, and he did! He survived a DSD with notorious me… Amazing!
