Another possibility, this black one hide themselves by burying their bodies into the sand …. or maybe you’re right since we got 22 divers that time he he he

Good pic, I wish I had changed my battery then. You’re wrong Wolfie, we didn’t have any sand storm while Erwin took this shot. I was there as the lighting man. The sand on the fish body was the result of previous sand storm and the effort of the fish to burry itself in the sand.

same thought Wolfie, but even 70 minutes later after the stormy fins’re long gone this guy still has sands sticking all over
