   Sharp… wats the res output for the optic 7200 and how much did you pay for it… been looking for one.. Nikonos V, great stuff

   7200 slide scanner, search for it on ebay. Around 250usd it is pretty resonable. What your looking at is not 7200dpi but only 900 or the file will be way to big for here. It does output to 7200. My son bought this one for me for my birthday. I was going to buy a Nikon one but happy with this one very much. You can’t load it like the Nikon but I have found every side needs your attention anyway.

   Almost right, one strobe on left. I was lazy to bring not on live-a-board.

   Could you scan it from the other side of the slide that your brighter side is on the right hand side of the photo shown here?Just curious to know as I have very little experience with slides.

    For sure you can scan it backwards. You would never know. I just know where I mount my strobe and the shinny side of the slide is away from the scanner light, just like a projector.

    When in doubt look at the shadows or sometimes you can look at the eyes and see the reflection of the strobes. This guy has black eyes.
