Nice try, if only you had the eyes in focus.. the camera was metering more on the body.Shd have waited a bit more for him to turn abit. If not u can try to have another diver infront to make it turn towards you.

but I still have no idea how to do spot metering
precisely on its eye using Pocket Digital Camera, Even the spot box appear 3x larger than pigmy’s body
Hope someday will use DSLR + 105mm macro lense to shoot
this one…

1/2 or 1 more F stop smaller you would not have to worry about focus as much, F32 or 22 if you can. I really wonder how small your camera can go. Macro , set it to the smallest and leave it. Still a great shot. Best Pigmy I have ever seen. And I am old.

Unfortunately, The smallest apperture is F8 ….
And I always try to use F8 for all photos to maintain sharpness, but still, pocket cam has very limited ability
compare to DSLR like nikon D70.

Perfectly isolated from the background… cool…
difficult object since there are red dots surrounded by bright skin… Everytime I look at this, I always want to have another shot!
