   Bagus Mun.. coba di crop lagi biar keliatan lebih gede crabnya.. lucu amat si jabrik ini. Btw, gue motret juga kok jadinya merah ya?

   yang merah pernah gw liat di wreck
   gw juga gak yakin apa beneran biru ya warnanya?
   tp lihat langsung, yg ini sih emang biru mi.. bukan merah

   Thanks Imran.. that’s why I keep uploading my pic even sometimes I’m not sure whether it’s good or not. Practising and learning something new is always fun for me. Actually, I did more crop with this pic, but I decided to upload this one coz I wanted to show the sponge where the crab lives.. and as usual, I always have problem with “lighting”

    Hi Mon, now that we’ve establish the problem with some of ur pictures, getting a strobe would be the next best thing.Please continue to post, there’s never a good or bad picture, just more ideas to learn from.And your getting better…

    Mon, I think this critter has only one color, that is reddish purple with red on eyes. This one is called Lauriea siagiani (derived from Wally Siagian who first discovered this animal). If you spot this one, you should light it with your torch even during the day to reveal the real color. The one we saw on your picture is what we saw in the depth without the light, that’s why even the surrounding sponge looks bluish, too. However, you manage to take a sharp photo of this small critter which is not easy actually.

    But I know, Wally will not agree with that..

    mana setelan flsh gw ngaco gara2 Cocong nih..
    Lala minta gw moto Cocong sebelum naik jukung
    nah pas di darat, setelan kameranya gw utak atik
    karena moto dari Mimpi nembak ke pos jukung nun di seberang
    hasilnya? photo Cocong leutik pisaaaaaann
    trus pas nyelem.. gw lupa nyetel flash ke posisi awal hahaha
    (gak bisa nyetel sendiri hihihihi perlu bantuan tenaga ahli)
    walhasil photo crab Lauriea siagiani-nya jadi mega mendung gicu deh

    thanks Erwin, been wondering myself what’s the name of this crab.. I saw one while diving Seraya and Liberty Wreck last weekend. I couldn’t upload my pics here, maybe not yet.. so here’s a link to my photo of Lauriea siagiani taken at Liberty wreck.
