so.. was it the camera or the photographer.

Hi Monica, no worries… I’m just not sure how to reply in Indonesian, but I understood all the posts :D

I like Canon S80 a lot, tested it once and I must say that its focusing speed is waaaay much faster than Olympus… but I prefer the way SP350 allowed me to control the menus, it has a lil’ bit of an SLR touch/feel in a small footprint.

how the pic was taken? uhmm didn’t remember anything special that I did, there were 2 of them resting under an overhang and they weren’t moving much, so I approached them slowly and snaps whenever I managed to get a focus at (or near) the eye - I took a few shots and compared the results on land. I’m glad that you like it, thanks :)

  11. Kaufik Anril says:

In My Oppinion, Canon S80 ’s focusing speed is very slow,
especially in dark area, compare to other pocket camera.
But it has quiete wide angle lens (28mm equiv 35mm while the others 35-38mm equiv 35)) and no vignete occured when shoot using its housing from canon.

  12. Kaufik Anril says:

This PIC is excellent in term of sharpness.
If the SP350 has slower focussing speed than S80, so this is Really good job if you took this by SP350.

    Nice PIC !
