the pic looks clean, the composition’s a near perfect rule of third, but it lack colour, contrast and the pgmy i shying away from the camera. Timing is crucial, sometimes its worth the wait or you can try bracketing you shots. As for settings, judging from yr shutter speed its 160, why do u need such a high number, the subject is not moving that fast, step down to maybe 80-100 and increase the aperture, so you’ll get more details out of it. And finally get closer.. understand and utlize your min focussing distance between lens and subject. my 2 cent worth.. btw.. nice shot
Imran: Could u please explain the part about bracketing..
And about being patient and wait, you should ask erwin who complain all the time about my deco dive *hahaha*
Heng: Tajem dong.. 100mm… kapan 60mm nya dibawa turun?
well, bracketing is when u take several shots of ur subject with different setting and positioning. As for deco stop, it’s not worth screwing up your body over some seahorse. There’s more encounters and pictures to shoot in this lifetime.Planing and discussing with your Dm in regards to inwater time and subject avaulability. Imagine and plan the shot in ur mind, as you approach your subject. Then shoot it, they way u want it..
Imagination to reality..
My photoclinic is for beginners, most of you guys here are pretty much advance photographers. A picture is a playground for the eyes to explore, i just provide a path of movement & some space for the eyes to rest..
Next Trip bali in dec, then maybe lombok or maluku then philippines(Leyte Island)
