   get closer and detail the subject… light up the subject from below or from behind for a halo kinda look … just my 2 cent worth..

   I have taken pic of this subject upclose.. You need lotso patience, wait till it gets comfortable with yr presence, then shoot away. Remember, anybody can take a picture, but can they tell a story with it… So imagine, plan, Shoot..
