    I think a single D2000 is really not that enough to take wide angle!Left side is UE!The white particles can be clearly seen.Not sure is back scatter or ur lens dirty!!

    Yuji is right, I have same problem shooting wide angle with only one strobe. Use dual strobe & long arm to reduce backscatter. Try to use wide lens as wide as possible and shoot close to object. White particles might be dirty lens, i don’t think they’re backscatter.

    the white spot is lens dirt for sure.
    yes, dual manual strobe will yield far better result.
    maybe in this case it will be better to shot closer to the reef?
