Taxonomy Coral : jenis Dendrophyllia sp. diambil saat night dive di pulau Bunaken bagian Selatan (kedalaman sekitar 5 meter) disaat tentakel dari polip coral keluar mencari makan.

Sebenarnya untuk coral dari family Dendrophylliidae, Dendrophyllia sp dan Tubastrea sp sangat sulit dibedakan (perlu analisis mikroskopik soal koralit skeletonnya) dan biasanya terdapat juga warna kuning pucat atau putih tergantung jenisnya. Saya punya juga yang warna kuning pucat dan putih, tapi yang ini lebih kusuka karna kuning kemerahan…:) Tubastrea faulkneri
