Lovely shot!!Nice close up of the squid!!It would be perfect if the speed u put up to 250 or even 500 to make the surrounding pitch dark,so that the squid will more striking!Just my .5cent of idea!!hehehe….well done!!

Thanks Yuji, will keep that in mind on my next dive trip. It was at Blue Lagoon, Padang Bai, Bali. this is my first time that I managed to get so close with a squid and at that time I was like “OMG! OMG! it’s coming so close!” and quickly snap the photo without thinking much of the exposure. then the strobe’s focus light stopped working - low battery and couldn’t take anymore squid shots.
*ahem* I did some PP and the backscatters were removed using Photoshop

Thanks Mon, Mulyadi and Erwin. on next dive I’ll tinker around with higher shutter speed as Yuji suggested. can’t wait, another 3 weeks to go diving
