Its about thumb sized, and disappears with a puff into the sand. I was lucky to see it on both night dives at the Derawan Jetty. Appreciate any squid expert out there who has a proper name?

Yeah, you’re right Momon! Another person has identified it as Euprymna tasmanica or Sepiadarium austrinum, both are bobtail squids. And BOTH names cannot be pronounced properly after a bottle of Tequila…
