Mul, I don’t think metadata will have that big effect
This article probably can help you to find out how to retain the EXIF and you can see the different is not that much

turns out you’re right Win, removing exif only save about 10 kb, the other 30+ kb comes from the file’s comments, ICC profile, Adobe tags etc.
