I don’t know how did you do this, but, this is really a very good one.

I used a closeup filter and a woody diopter to get super close. The strobes were positioned right beside the macro port. W/c was the wrong thing to do, since I did not get a black background if I positioned the strobes at 11 or 1 o’clock.

    Tom,

When I started with my Canon S80 back in May 2006. I asked for the help of Masters. And guess what they were snobs! I swore when I became a better photographer that I would help anyone that would ask for help.

1st I consider myself a average JOE. Anyone can take great pictures. All you need are 3 simple things…

    1. You have to have the right equipment.
    2. Knowledge of Light, shutter speed, aperture, and subject behavior.
    3. Practice and more practice.

I use special equipment for magnification a closeup filter and Woody Diopter.
Now I got a 2x Teleconverter that will allow me to take full frame shots of pygmy seahorses.

Great pictures cost a lot of money bec. of the equipment needed. So start saving up.

If you need advice or help - please don’t hesitate to ask.
